You may have noticed I have revamped this blog and got rid of some of the old content. Its time for a new era- one where I actually post! This is my photographic diary, which will mainly contain photos of wildlife and landscapes. Various other thoughts that pop into my head will also be written down here. Enjoy!
Photographic Equipment
For DSLR I use a Canon EOS 20D with a Sigma 500mm F4.5 APO EX. For digiscoping I use a Canon Powershot A95 through a Kowa 823 & 32WLER scope.

A view of our developing pond, taken earlier in the month. I have recently planted a wildflower mix around the edges and added several more plants to the pond itself- already they are growing.
Common Crane, Eldernell, Cambs, 14.04.08. (Digiscoping) Click for the big versions. A great bird and a great morning- really thought I had missed this one!
Short-eared Owl, Lincs, March 2008. (DSLR) Click for the big versions. Now sadly gone, these Owls were a great highlight of many owling sessions during March.
Barn Owl, Lincs, 02.03.08. (Digiscoped) Click to enlarge (ooo eeer). After another night of strong winds, the pair seemed to be hunting throughout the day today, thus weren't terribly active during the evening. Luckily, after being flushed from a roadside post, this one decided to perch in one of the closest trees and unusually was completely free of branches in front of it spoiling the shot.
These shots were digiscoped by balancing my scope on the window of my car.
